Create your own drawings that will be edited & printed on your very own A5 notebook to treasure this Autumn season at Flo & Dot, Belfast

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

With Award-Winning Illustrator Lauren, you’ll be expertly guided to create your own drawings & illustrations that will then be made into your own bespoke high-quality original Soft Back Notebook especially for you! At A5 size with 100gsm blank paper inside, it's your own special notebook for you to draw, journal in or take notes!   

You'll be expertly guided by Lauren to use different illustration techniques including drawing with Lauren's recognisable ink with a cocktail stick technique (that many say is relaxing and therapeutic!), coloured collage and more.

All materials will be provided for you.

Limited spaces are available so feel free to come on your own or with friends/family, you will be warmly welcomed and it's a great opportunity to meet new people. You also don't have to feel that you're a 'creative' person to attend, you'll be expertly guided throughout the whole process to create lovely illustrated products for you to treasure forever.

The vibe for the event is relaxed, creative, fun and inspiring - embracing your inner child!

Refreshments will be provided and your illustrated notebook will ready for collection from Flo & Dot in Belfast in a few weeks time following the workshop.

ABOUT:

Lauren Kelso is an Award-Winning Illustrator based in Ballymena, Northern Ireland.  In 2025, Lauren was named in the '30 Under 30' Belfast Telegraph List and in 2023, she was the Overall Student Winner of the FIDA Fashion Awards, with her illustration being published in the Fible Book with the Foreword written by Tom Ford.

Lauren is often inspired by nature, coffee culture, travel and more and her illustration work is often quirky, intuitive and experimental.  She loves to use ink with a cocktail stick, collage and more to create her illustrations and loves soaking up inspiration from the world around her.
